Why I Started Life With Ankita

What is Life With Ankita?

After trying to force my indecisive mind to find a niche, I finally chose to make this blog about college, the pre-health grind, and #coronatime! I’ll be a senior in college this fall and attending dental school next year, and I’d like to share my experiences as a current student who is still trying to figure it all out.

What do I know about college?

Everyone says that college will be the best four years of your entire life, but they don’t tell you…that college is hard. Trying to find your lifelong friends in a sea of thousands of students, recovering from failing exam grades after acing AP classes in high school, waking up for those dreaded 11 AM’s after a night out, I get it.

From the pressure of choosing what you want to do for the rest of your life at 17, to figuring out your own path away from home, I know how confusing and overwhelming it is to be a young adult in today’s world. We’re all trying to manage the stress of #adulting while taking intense courses, joining 148 extracurriculars, and maintaining healthy social lives.

In hopes of inspiring others, I want to share my own experiences in changing my areas of study, finding extracurricular opportunities, discovering recipes, and overcoming the anxiety and stress of balancing everything at once.

How can I help my readers?

My main goal is to provide advice for current and future college students who are in the process of starting their careers. I’ll be talking about how to find and pursue your interests, your dream school, and your dream career. I’ll also be giving tips for current college students on how to stay organized, involved, motivated, and successful on campus.

Another category of posts will focus on helping pre-health students find enlightening opportunities that will make them better candidates in their fields. Lastly, I want to start with a series that will benefit my readers during the current global pandemic. I will be writing about things to do in quarantine, how to stay positive, and how to stay on track of your goals this summer, and more.
